Starex University is an Autonomous body set up by the Government of Haryana through the Act of Haryana Private Universities (Amendment Act) 2016 passed by the Haryana legislative Assembly vide Haryana Gazette Notification 20_HLA of 2016/85 dated 25/08/2016
The university is empowered to award, degree, diploma and certificate as specified under section 22 of UGC
act 1956. The name of the university has been included in the list of universities established as per section
2F of the UGC act 1956.
Starex University is established by Starex Foundation as its sponsoring body established under the
provisions of Sec-8 of the Companies Act, 2013 the corresponding Section-25 of the Companies Act. 1956.
Starex University is spread over approximately 32 acres on the main Delhi-Jaipur Highway (NH-48) situated
inalush green and pollution-free environment and well-maintained campus.
The Courses at Starex University are adequately diverse ranging from Technology, Management, and
Sciences. The courses encourage looking at the subject from multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary
perspectives as per NEP 2020 with Academic Bank of Credits to digitally store the Academic Credits of the
Degree, Diploma Certificates, taking into account credits earned by Students to ensure the opening,
closure, and validation of Academic Bank of Accounts, verification, accumulation, and transfer of
redemption for students to choose their own learning path to attain a degree, diploma, certificate working
onthe principle of Multiple-Entry - Multiple-Exit as well as anytime, anywhere and any level learning.
The atmosphere in the University is lively, vibrant & multicultural, which is an essential component of a
good teaching-learning environment. The University follows a judicious assessment system that is fair and

> SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
Admission to various courses of the University will be made as per the following guidelines prescribed by and under
section 35 of the Haryana Private Universities Act-2006, as amended up-to-date.
(A) Admission to the University will be made strictly on the basis of merit.
(B) Merit of admission in the University may be determined either on the basis of marks or grades obtained in the
entrance test conducted by the University/Association of Universities/by any authorized agency or the marks
obtained in the qualifying examination. However, admission in professional and technical courses will be made
only through an entrance test as prescribed under Subsection 2 of section 35 of the Act.
(C) Furthermore, unfilled/drop-out vacant seats in professional and technical courses will be filled by the University
at its own level by considering the marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying examination and on the basis
of their inter-se-merit.

Application form fee for online admission seekers and offline admission seekers is Rs 2000/- for Indian Students
and USD 100 for International Students
Payment can be made through debit/credit card/net banking or in cash at the admission counter/office of Starex
University, Gurugram campus at the time of submission of the application form. Alternatively, candidate may
purchase “Application Form” from admission cell at Starex University campus.
